Exchange forum 2016
Moscow Exchange regularly hosts conferences known as Exchange Forums in key global financial centres such as Moscow, London, New York and Shanghai to promote the Russian stock market among international investors. In 2016, the Moscow session of the Forum attracted more than 1,600 delegates.

Moscow Exchange hosted the Exchange Forum — London Session on 6 December 2016. The Forum attracted more than 500 delegates, including global institutional investors, portfolio managers, bank representatives and risk managers.
Delegates of InvestTECH 2016 hosted by Moscow Exchange discussed innovations on the exchange market, Blockchain technology, Big Data, Tinkoff financial marketplace, fintech start-ups, Sberbank Messenger, roboadvisory and regulatory issues.
Moscow Exchange, rspp and naufor established an arbitration to resolve financial market disputes
On 10 November 2016, Moscow Exchange, the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs and the National Association of Securities Market Participants (NAUFOR) signed a cooperation agreement on dispute resolution matters on the financial market.
The sale of a 10.9 per cent stake in ALROSA was officially announced in 11 July 2016. The offering price was set at RUB 65 per share. By the end of the trading day, it exceeded RUB 68 with the book being more than two times oversubscribed.
Grain market infrastructure
Moscow Exchange hosted Grain Business Infrastructure — Logistics and Finance Conference on 22 April 2016. The event was dedicated to the launch of the grain market. The Exchange presented innovative financial service technologies for grain market participants, new services in grain logistics and new approaches to transportation tariffs.
Retail investor 2016
The Russian financial market regulator and leading brokerage firms, asset managers and banks discussed pressing issues related to investor protections on the Russian market, retail products and services as well as innovative technologies in the field of investment.
New instrument: General collateral certificates
The new instrument combines the advantages of the two most popular products on Russia’s Money Market: centrally cleared repo and GC basket repo with collateral management.
Exchange forum in shanghai
Moscow Exchange signed cooperation agreements with two leading Chinese securities firms at Shanghai Session of the Exchange Forum. Under the agreements, the firms will start to provide access for their clients to Russian securities traded on Moscow Exchange.
Exchange forum in New York
The New York Session of the Moscow Exchange Forum took place on 15 November 2016 with more than 400 delegates including global institutional investors, portfolio managers and senior representatives of banks attending the event.

Moscow Exchange completed migration of its infrastructure to a highly reliable, cutting-edge data centre in order to offer better service quality to its clients. DataSpace1 is the first commercial data centre in Russia and continental Europe to have successfully completed the full cycle of Tier III certification.
